WORLD'S LARGEST TRACTOR TUG SERVES LOOP

The largest, most powerful tractor tug in the world, the LOOP RESPONDER, is now in service in the Louisiana Offshore Oil Port, USA, as a potent deterrent against oil spills. The 155 ft x 52 ft tug draws 17.5 ft and is propelled/steered by twin Voith/Schneider cycloidal vertical axis propulsion units.
