COASTAL AND SHORT-SEA SHIPPING - A PRELIMINARY STUDY

In the spring of 1990 the Swedish Transport Research Board commissioned a feasibility study on coastal and short-sea shipping to examine the economical and technical conditions of transferring a considerable short of overland transport to shipping. The study is summarised in this paper and the results and conclusions are given.
