RADAR STUDIES OF ARCTIC ICE AND DEVELOPMENT OF A REAL-TIME ARCTIC ICE TYPE IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM
The Remote Sensing Center at Texas A and M University has conducted studies for the Naval Surface Weapons Center to develop a real-time, special purpose radar data processor. The purpose of this processing system is to provide ice type identification using radar scatterometer measurements. This final report documents the construction of the Real- Time Ice Classification System (RTICS) processor. (Author)
