EXPERIENCE DEMONSTRATES THE WORTH OF SYNTHETICS
Although synthetic lubricants cost five times more initially than their conventional mineral-oil-based counterparts, they can more than pay for themselves over time in terms of reduced maintenance costs and increased vessel uptime. Synthetic lubricants have demonstrated benefits in three key areas of marine applications: main propulsion engines, gear-boxes and heavy fuel oil separators.
