THE INCREASING ADVANTAGES OF VIDEO PROGRAMMES IN CREW TRAINING

The revitalisation of the marine industry has brought major problems, those of crew availability, standards and training. One of the most immediate and effective ways of refreshing crews, upgrading crew standards and assisting in achieving safe and efficient vessel operation is the use of videos. Effective use of videos and some of the marine training videos currently available are described.
