THEORETICAL, EXPERIMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS ON THE INJECTION PROCESS IN DIRECT INJECTION DIESEL ENGINES

A simplified hydraulic model of the injection process is used in order to find the most significant parameters relating to the phenomenon. Experimental results are given for the injection pressure, obtained using piezoelectric and strain gauge transducers applied to a direct injection diesel engine.
