USE OF INSPECTION DATA FOR STRUCTURE INTEGRITY ASSESSMENT

A wide literature exists on theoretical aspects of integrity assessment but few applications of inspection results have been presented up to date. This paper discusses the criteria to be implemented for such an utilisation of the inspection data, taking also benefit from the experience already gained in structural reanalysis and safety assessment.
