FRENCH PORTS ARE DEVELOPING A PREVENTIVE MONITORING STRATEGY FOR MARITIME STRUCTURES
Using two examples, one on the local level, the port of La Rochelle, and another on the national level, the Technical Service of the Port Directorate, the article describes the efforts made in all French ports for improved reporting on the condition of maritime structures and the organisation of continuous maintenance.
