THE 595 SERIES - MTU'S NEW GENERATION OF ENGINES

MTU Friedrichshafen has presented a newly developed diesel engine series at the SMM '90 Exhibition in Hamburg. Bearing the MTU designation "595", corresponding to the cylinder volume of 5.95 litres, it consists of 12 and 16 cylinder versions. For MTU this represents an addition to the product line in the medium power category.
