CONDEMNATION OF FISHING VESSELS IN NORWAY SUBSIDISED TO REDUCE THE FLEET IS CRITICISED

In recent years it has been the policy to subsidise condemnation of old fishing vessels to reduce the fishing capacity. The decisions in several concrete cases have been criticised, however, and it seems important to investigate how the decisions are made and which vessels have been condemned over the last years. This summary lists the condemnation of fishing vessels in Norway in 1988 and 1989.
