VIBRATION MONITORING BY OPTICAL METHOD FOR THE HIGH PRESSURE COMPRESSOR OF THE GAS TURBINE
Compressor blade reliability is one of the most important items for the high efficiency gas turbine. The authors have already developed a non-contact blade vibration monitoring system by optical sensors. This paper shows the practical application to the newly developed, advanced online monitoring system based on the preliminary system, which was improved in the function of the online monitoring, and the results of the monitoring and the stress evaluation of the compressor blades during the start-up operation for one month.
