AN AUTOMATED SYSTEM FOR VISCOUS RESISTANCE MEASUREMENT AND THE REPEATED TESTS WITH TODD 60 CB=0.60 MODEL

An automated system for viscous resistance measurement is introduced together with the analysis method. It is a miniature vane wheel, fibre light guide system with multi-channel pulse output. The repeated tests with the Todd 60 block coefficient = 0.60 model prove that the system is successful with high efficiency. The test can be made both in step by step mode and in continuous mode, to give the reliable viscous resistance value. It is important that the wake survey should be done on both sides of the model.
