DEVELOPMENT OF A PROGRAM FOR STATISTICAL EVALUATION OF COMPRESSIVE STRENGTHS OF READY MIX CONCRETE
The report describes the operation of a computer program which was developed to perform a statistical analysis on the compressive strengths of ready mix concrete. Statistical procedures are applied to determine uniformity of production, mean strength, required minimum design strength, variance, and other factors. The program maintains a 36 month file of data on concrete test results in addition to a codes file for the various concrete producers, aggregate producers, cement producers, and other information contained on the concrete test report. The Ready Mix System is extremely flexible by allowing the user to select records from the data bank for statistical analysis based on thirty-seven parameters ranging from project number to cylinder age. In addition to ready mix concrete strength results the program can handle other strength results from other concrete producers such as paving concrete. /Author/
