SIMULATION OF THE INTERACTION BETWEEN AERODYNAMICS AND VEHICLE DYNAMICS IN GENERAL UNSTEADY GROUND EFFECT

A method for modelling general unsteady lifting flows and a method for simulating dynamic-aerodynamic interaction is described. The aerodynamic model is general enough to treat multiple, closely coupled lifting components in ground effect. Simulations are computed both in and out of ground effect.
