RFB RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT IN WIG VEHICLES

Since 1964, Rhein-Flugzeugbau GmbH (RFB) has been working in the field of Ground Effect technology, particularly with wing in ground effect (WIG) vehicles. Their capabilities and limits have been investigated by practical testing. The paper reports on the knowledge gained and describes the economic aspects.
