AN INTRODUCTION TO THE APPLICATION OF THE THEORY OF TRAFFIC POLES IN FORECASTS OF TRAFFIC ON A NETWORK OF ROADS
The traffic poles theory is a mathematical auxiliary to the quantitative approximation of the effect a number of factors have on the amount of traffic between the objects generating it (traffic poles). Although the poles theory can be applied to all kinds of traffic, solely its application to motor-traffic is considered. An example of a calculation and an application to a configuration with symmetrical traffic poles are presented. /TRRL/
