AN AUTOMATIC CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A RECREATIONAL HYDROFOIL

A hydrofoil roll control system suitable for an outboard powered planing craft has been developed. It utilises relatively low cost sensors, electronics and actuator components. Such a system could make possible the marketing of a 2 - 4 ton submerged foil hydrofoil at a price within the range of those of fast planing craft.
