CORRELATION OF TEST RIG AND WIND TUNNEL TESTS FOR PERFORMANCE PREDICTIONS OF WELLS TURBINE
Aerodynamic forces on wells turbine blades are correlated with the wind tunnel data to predict the performance of the wells turbine. The predictions show that a large scale self starting wells turbine will have an efficiency of 70 percent and nondimensional pressure drop coefficient of 0.20.
