LIMITED A/B COURSE (60 HOURS)
Consists of a folder containing "hand-outs" used in the two week, Coast Guard approved, Able Seaman school conducted by the Association. The areas covered include safety aboard ship, cold water survival, line handling and mooring, life-boat training, first aid, lifesaving equipment, firefighting, painting, the use of the compass and steering, and basic Rules of the Road.
