INVESTIGATIONS ON HEAVY FUELS WITH THEIR COKING TENDENCY AND ABSORBTIVITY

The stochastic relation between coking tendency and the absorbtivity of heavy fuels and their components is systematically investigated. It has been found out that the wavelength range at 350 nm is particularly suitable for the photometric determination of the coking tendency of heavy fuels up to asphaltenes.
