A STUDY ON THE ESTIMATION METHOD OF BUBBLE DISTRIBUTION FROM ACOUSTIC ATTENUATION: 2ND. REPORT - EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH
This study follows the author's theoretical study on a method for estimation of the bubble density distribution by acoustic attenuation. The remaining problems are discussed for the realisation of a real-time indication system of bubble distribution, such as the maximum acoustic pressure for linear vibration and the buiding-up time of vibration. Under these conditions, experiments were carried out using a bubble generator to measure bubble density distribution functions both photographically and acoustically. Results were compared with each other and were found to coincide very well. The acoustic attenuation method was thus verified for bubble distribution measurement.
