DRAG ESTIMATION FOR HOVERCRAFT

A drag estimation method based on model tests in a ship model basin and the theoretical calculation for wavemaking drag has been proposed for some hovercraft with trunked annular jet. This method can be applied to determine the craft propulsion power and the results have been validated by a trial of a full scale craft.
