GUIDE FOR LAY-UP AND FOR REACTIVATION OF MOBILE OFFSHORE DRILLING UNITS

This guide has been prepared by the American Bureau of Shipping to assist owners in the lay-up and reactivation of Mobile Offshore Drilling Units. These guidelines are of a general nature due to the wide variety of MODU configurations, geographic and climatic conditions of lay-up sites and degree of maintenance during lay-up, and are therefore intended solely for guidance purposes.
