THE PRODUCTION OF HIGH STRENGTH CONCRETE
The author reviews the requirements for production of concrete having a compressive strength above 800 kp per sq cm (11500 lb per sq in) after 28 days. Cement, aggregate, compaction and curving requirements are given. The manufacture in the laboratory of concrete having a compressive strength of about 1200 kp per sq cm is referred to and possible applications are discussed. The high cost of the method is likely to limit practical applications. /TRRL/
