A STREAMLINE ITERATION METHOD FOR COMPUTING THE THREE-DIMENSIONAL TURBULENT FLOW AROUND THE STERN AND IN THE WAKE OF A SHIP (FIRST REPORT: WIGLEY SHIP MODEL)

A method of calculating the three-dimensional turbulent flow around a ship, with emphasis on the stern region and the wake, is presented. There is reasonable agreement between calculations for a Wigley model and experimental results.
