EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH ON HYDRODYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF RUDDER,

Model tests on hydrodynamic characteristics of rudder have been carried out at the towing tank of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Based on the analysis of a series of experimental results, a set of formulae for normal force coefficient of rudder were elaborated by regression analysis method.
