EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION INTO THE PARALLEL OPERATION OF THREE-PHASE SHAFT ALTERNATOR AND DIESEL ALTERNATORS

The system studied comprises a shaft generator equipped with a controlled-frequency inverter and a diesel-generator set. A theoretical model covering this arrangement has been published previously; the objective of the work reported was to check this model experimentally. It was demonstrated that stable parallel operation of the two subsystems is possible, and the results of the theoretical model were confirmed.
