BONDED STRUCTURES GET APPROVAL

A recently published report of work undertaken by the Production Engineering Research Association (PERA) concludes that adhesive bonding produces lap joints that are stronger than equivalent joints produced by other joining processes. This article outlines the findings of the study and reviews some new high performance elastomers.
