WIND FORCES ON UNCLAD TUBULAR STRUCTURES
The information which is presented in this report derives from a much larger programme of research into this phenomenon, and was sponsored by Cidect and directed by Dr. G. Schulz of the German aeronautical research station. An approximate quick calculation of wind loads on lattice masts is given together with an outline of the calculation of the wind loads on lattice structures with cylindrical members. The effect of gusset plates and other superstructural parts upon the wind loading of structures composed of cylindrical members is considered and a brief note on wind loads on lattice structures with square members is included. /TRRL/
