SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ANALYSIS OF LARGE AGT NETWORKS
This paper discusses the use of a set of simulation tools to help the transportation planner gather the information required to make rational and timely decisions in the planning and design cycles of an automated transit project. A methodology employing interactive analysis techniques as an approach to examining system management alternatives is described. A detailed discussion of the simulation approach and actual results are presented. The tools described herein were developed to investigate automated guideway transit systems.
