URBAN TRAFFIC CONTROL: CURRENT METHODOLOGIES
This paper presents a literature review of traffic control methods using mathematical programming techniques. It includes an analysis of some signal timing problems in the two cases of fixed pattern of traffic and combined traffic assignment and signal optimisation respectively.
