The energy demands of the electrical, synthetic gas, synthetic liquids, household and commercial, industrial, and transportation sectors are discussed and projected to the year 2000. Energy resources in the forms of coal, liquid hydrocarbons, and gaseous fuels are estimated, and current and future probable production and supply are discussed.
