Disposal of used rubber tires has become a serious problem to government agencies through North America. A study jointly sponsored by Alberta Transportation and Utilities, the City of Edmonton, the City of Calgary and EBA Engineering Consultants Ltd. was conducted to determine the feasibility of incorporating rubber crum produced from used tires into conventional dense graded hot mix asphalt pavements.
