STOCKHOLM ENTERS SERVICE WITH THE SWEDISH NAVY. FIRST OF THE SPICA IIIS FROM KARLSKRONA

The Spica III class of attack craft has previously been described (see Abstract No. 63,984, Jan. 1985). The present article gives further information on this new type of mini-corvette' or missile ship, the first of which, Stockholm (320 t displacement), was delivered to the Royal Swedish Navy in Feb. 1985. Malino, the second in the series, was launched at Karlskrona in Mar. 1985. General-arrangement drawings of Stockholm are included.
