DESIGN AND INSTALLATION CRITERIA FOR PROTECTION SOLUTIONS OF SUBSEA PRODUCTION SYSTEMS

The paper describes the design and installation criteria for subsea protection systems. Requirements for overhead and lateral protection to equipment are discussed in detail. Integrated and non-integrated protection concepts and some of their solutions in the form of caged frame, encapsulated, buried and partly buried are examined. Installation of the protection structure is also described in brief. <CMO>.
