UNDERWATER ACOUSTIC MODELLING TECHNIQUES

Progress in underwater acoustic modelling techniques reported since 1980 is reviewed. Emphasis is placed on developments of general interest to those concerned with sonar modelling. These include model refinements, bottom interaction modelling, model operating systems and trainers, and specialised modelling applications in shallow water and Arctic environments.
