SHIP MANOEUVRABILITY, ICE "LUBRICATION" COMBINED

The article discusses some activities of Omnithruster Inc. and describes the company's Omnithruster Hydrojet Thruster and Omniphaser, which is powered by the thruster and helps to lubricate the hull as it passes through ice. The combined device, installed in two Beaufort Sea icebreaking supply vessels, was described in the article covered by Abs. No. 59138 <Mar. 1983>.
