ELECTROSTATIC WELDING OF RADAR GRID-TYPE REFLECTORS

The apparatus described in this paper can be used for the construction of analog grids from aluminium alloys <AMg, AMg2, AMg6> and also non-corrodible steels of type X18H10T. It obviates the use of solder and reduces the labour time by a factor of 3 to 4. Positive results were obtained in a full-cycle study including climatic and mechanical aspects.
