ULSTR: A PROGRAM FOR ESTIMATING THE COLLAPSE OF A SHIP'S HULL UNDER LONGITUDINAL BENDING

This report is in microfiche form. The ULSTR computer program is designed to estimate the ductile collapse strength of conventional surface ship hulls under vertical longitudinal bending. The program is intended for use in the preliminary design stages, and so yields approximate results, being based on a variety of solutions. The report takes the form of a user's manual, it describes specific input instructions and provides two illustrative examples. There is no complete program listing.
