DAMAGE STABILITY OF CHEMICAL TANKERS: APPLICATION OF THE NOTION OF MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE HEIGHT OF CENTRE OF GRAVITY

The principles of damage stability calculations using the maximum height of the centre of gravity are extrapolated to calculations applicable to chemical tankers. The results obtained for an existing ship are presented.
