VESSEL MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This report is in microfiche form. The Vessel Management Information System is a computer-based system for tracking and reporting on a fleet of inland towboats and tank barges. The system provides programs and documentation for the physical and financial tracking of the fleet as well as for maintaining information on vessel contracts, logistical support, and fleet planning requirements.
