SHIP BEHAVIOUR IN PORTS AND THEIR APPROACHES. PART 3. THE PREDICTION OF SQUAT FOR VESSELS IN SHALLOW WATERS
The tables presented in the 3rd report of this series are based on the method of squat prediction developed at the U.K. National Maritime Institute and resemble closely the amounts of squat predicted by other authorities. It is now generally accepted that only those methods which take account of vessel size and other parameters yield accurate results.
