This report describes the CIAP atmospheric monitoring and experiments subprogram as it was executed between 1972 and 1975. Included is a brief descriptive compendium of the stratospheric measurement instruments used and the instrument platforms deployed by the more than 60 investigators who participated in the program. The technical data obtained from these stratospheric measurements is summarized and interpreted with respect to its impact on the assessment of the effects of stratospheric pollution by high altitude jet aircraft.
