COMPREHENSIVE TRANSPORT PLANNING
The author explains the principles and techniques of comprehensive traffic planning. After suggesting a possible method for county strategy development the author presents a detailed review of less capital-intensive planning policies such as traffic restraint, restrictions on parking and traffic management. One chapter is devoted to the problem of the smaller urban area. An appendix lists transport planning legislation in England and Wales. /TRRL/
