THE EFFECTS OF RUMBLE STRIPS AT THE DARTFORD TUNNEL
The effect of rumble strips on traffic using the approach in Essex to the Dartford Tunnel has been investigated. Speed readings and time-lapse films of the traffic were taken before and after the installation of the rumble strips. The results showed significant reductions in speed and changes in braking patterns after the installation. (A) /TRRL/
