ORGANIZING THE TRANSPORTATION SECTOR FOR GREATER ECONOMIC COMPETITIVENESS: A STRATEGIC FRAMEWORK
The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) is responsible for developing policies and programs - in partnership with its stakeholders - aimed at strengthening the competitive performance of the Ontario transportation sector. This paper descrisbes some of the challenges, insights and lessons experienced by MTO policy planners, less than one year into the sector strategy development process.
