INVESTIGATION ON DYNAMIC RESPONSE OF FIBROUS CONCRETE
Studies dealing with steel fibre-reinforced concrete, mentioned in the article, deal with the material properties and parameters of aspect ratio of the fibre and optimum quantity of reinforcement. Limited information is available on the dynamic modulus of fibrous concrete. In the present study reported the dynamic modulus of elasticity, logarithmic decrement and dynamic Poisson's ratio have been studied experimentally using the procedure stated in ASTM standard C-215-52T- 1976. Details of the cement, aggregate and steel fibre used in the test are given.
