FINANCE STUDIES FOR KIEV ROAD

The Economics Studies Group of London will investigate institutional reforms that would attract foreign financing of a new 805 km (500 mi) highway from Kiev to Hungary's western border. The 18-week study will cost $150,000. The highway is intended to replace another following a more circuitous route. The European Union's Technical Assistance to the Commonwealth of Independent States is funding the economic study; the Italian government is funding the technical studies.
