CARPOOL MODELS: LITERATURE AND INITIATIVE TOWARDS DEVELOPMENT IN THE NETHERLANDS
CARPOOLMODELLEN: LITERATUUR EN AANZET TOT ONTWIKKELING IN NEDERLAND
This contribution contains an overview of the international literature on models which can be used to predict the number of carpoolers and the impact of policy measures on carpooling. The structure and contents of an envisaged carpool model for The Netherlands are discussed. The question emphasized which parts of the literature can be used in this initiative, and which new elements of the model have to be built.
