UNDER NEW ECONOMIC CONDITIONS
Scientific and technical progress, and the shift to a new economic system, have necessitated a significant restructuring of the training programs in marine engineering and naval architecture offered at the Leningrad Shipbuilding Institute of the USSR. The assumptions adopted as the basis of this restructuring are listed. The courses of study and organizational plan for the training process are then described.
